General Meeting – January 2020

Suzan O’Connor put on an energetic, entertaining, and informative lecture: Hermann Zapf: A Legacy in Lettering.

Before the meeting, Suzan O’Connor and Beth Morton show various books containing Hermann Zapf’s calligraphy and fonts he developed. One of the quotes that was pointed out: “ There is always a little heart blood in the ink we use.”

There were several items on the share table, including an invitation sent to our guild, for the Graceful Envelope Contest, from the Washington, D.C. guild. Rules and dates are on the flyer.
